The Wedding

I would like to share a wedding that I did in 2009.  It is the sequel the rehearsal so please check it out before viewing this post for the introduction.  Sergio attends his best friend from college wedding as his best man.  Without further ado....please enjoy!

Tour Guy (wedding)

Bride's gown - Fashion Avenue
Groomsmen attire - Wedding Ken ('08) - I paid only $5 for each doll  ; )
Bridemaids dresses - Dollar Tree - yes, they were $1.00) ; )
Flowers - all handcrafted by me
Jewelry - trim
Flower girls dresses - they were red and white, but I used fabric paint to paint them pink and black

**Special thanks to my dear sister friend D'Mari who helped me dress all of those bridemaids.  I love you girl!

Okay now for the biggest Blooper:  I shot the rehearsal and wedding at two different times in 2009 (several months apart).  By the time that I shot the wedding, I had forgotten the groom's name (Lol!) so he has one name in the rehearsal and another for the wedding.  Lol!!!  I could have gone back to edit, but whatever....Lol!  I hope you enjoyed it.

Be blessed!

Vickey

  2. Thanks so much Marta. I don't know why the words did not appear. I have words to every picture on my webshots. The pictures were cutouts from magazine. I wrote on there with gold pen "Vino's" to give the restaurant a little character.

Your update are not showing up in my follow section. Do you know what is causing that? I just happened to check your page to see what your were up to. Do I need to un-follow and then follow again? I don't what to miss your new posts!

I love your video! You did an excellent job!!! Have I seen this before on the Diva Doll Page? If so, I liked it then too! I don't recognize of of your fellows. Who is the action figure in the front between the Steven and the Ken?

  11. Hi Ms Leo, I am not sure what is going on. The same thing happens to me with Tracy India blog. Not sure why. I just unfollowed you and refollowed to see it was on my end. I guess it can not hurt to do it also. You are still considered as my first follower : )

Thanks so much for your nice comments. Yes, I shared some of the pics on Doll Divas. Most of the guys are Ken's that I painted on beards or mustaches. The only action figure is the tour guy and I am not sure who he is. My guys are mostly Ken and Steven. Grant Hill is in the blue. I only have a few PT guys still in the box waiting to be freed.

  14. The effect of the many fuchsia wedding gowns reminds me of a tropical garden. Very bright. I love the way the camera pans out over the guests and returns to the wedding couple. Neat.

    Thanks for sharing!
