My Last OOAKs in 2014

My last commission for 2014 was to complete three dolls for a co-worker ~ two for his daughters and one for his significant other.  I was not sure which was for whom, so I decided to create them all similar but in the colors that he chose.  Children can be very funny about always wanting the one that was not chosen for them, so in keeping the peace I kept them simple so that the daughters could be free to change the clothing as they desired.

I still love some of the older faces

This is the one that he chose for his significant other

This one was my favorite

Just the three of us

These were the first ones from 2014.  I created one similar to the one on the right for a raffle for my doll club and received two commissions from that.  I delivered the following two at the January 2014 meeting.

Happy Sunday!

  4. Happy New Year! Thanks so much Ms. Leo! Yes, I root the eyelashes, put on the beauty mark, repaint the lips only and make the clothes. I would love to learn to do repaints one day. I believe that they enjoy and appreciate them. I plan to do more of it when I retire in a fews years.
