Dallas, Mike, Juliana, and Jabari |
We are just popping in to wish all of our blogger friends a Happy New Year! I wish you all many blessings in the new year!
Okay, I know I said it in 2014 (and probably 2013) that I would blog more, but I am serious this time. For one, I have a new computer and two, it took me all of two seconds to upload the pictures to the blog by using pictures from my phone camera. I inadvertently came across the button that said "upload pictures from your camera". I had a real duh moment. I was thinking how could that be so. I did not save my pictures from my phone on this computer...duh Vickey this is Google and my pictures are backed up on...Google! I had been trying to upload them from iPhoto which I never did figured out. So in essence, I have no more excuses. I just have to remember to click upload from other options. I will post something even if it is a snapshot or two. Two seconds....really?! Anyways, here is a mini story as a peace offering.

Mike: So, how are the wedding plans coming along?
Juliana: Interesting, that you would ask. I set up an appointment today to meet with the planners next week. We will plan a meeting soon after that with the bridal party.
Jabari: I will send out an email with the meeting details by next Friday.
Dallas: So babe be sure to put it on your calendar. You know you have to escort me down the isle.
Mike: What? He-he...I don't think I am the one who is forgetful.... Miss "I am SO sorry, I forgot, please charge it to my head and not my heart" (as he pretends like he is clutching pearls).
Juliana: (laughs) I can just hear her saying all of that.
Dallas: Humph! Whatever, this is New Year's Day, not pick on Dallas day (as she walks away to go to the bathroom).
Mike: He-he, he. That's my baby.
Jabari: Yes, she is. No one else would be able to put up with her (chuckle).
Jabari: Babe, really?
Mike: Oh, no no problem Jay. Jul and I go way back. She has always shot straight from the hip (chuckle). Jul, let me work some things out first. I don't want to hold up you guys plans. I will get back with you or Jay within the week.
Juliana: Um huh. I will see.
Jabari: As he grabs he says - Nothing or noone can change me and my baby's plans.
Dallas: Oh goodness....here we go.
Juliana: Whatever honey (chuckle).
Dallas: You want some more of the peach wine?
Juliana: It's Stella Rose Dal and yes, please.
Dallas: She walks back over to the sofa. I just love my cousin (chuckle).
Juliana: Are you tipsy (chuckle)?
Dallas: No, just excited about all of the many blessings and things that 2015 will bring. Happy New Years you guys!
Juliana: Happy New Years to you to too and all of our blogger friends!
Cheers!! Be blessed! Vickey Oh, P.S. I just love the saying on Juliana's shirt ~ Be Yourself!! |
Happy New Year! I look forward to see more of your lovely dolls and stories (yay! a wedding, I love weddings!)!
ReplyDeleteHi Night Owl! Happy New Year to you! Yes, a wedding. I have not chosen the season yet, but maybe the wedding planners will have the details soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, GG! It is so wonderful to see a post from you. I enjoyed it and your pictures as well.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you discovered an easy, almost instantaneous way to upload photos to your blog. If you are not already aware of it, there is also a Blogger app. I don't use it often, but it is useful when I am on my iPad and a subject to write about surfaces. I will create the blog using the app, save it as draft, and edit it later from my PC. I am sure you already know about the voice recognition feature that can be used instead of the keyboard. I haven't figured out how to get it to recognize my punctuation commands, however. :-)

Hi Debbie!! HappyNew Year to you! I will check out the blogger app. I guess that I was trying to do it old school by using a camera as opposed to my phone camera. Thanks so much for the info. No, I was not aware of the voice recognition, but I plan to check that out as well. I wish I was way more tech savvy than what I am. I will take a look at it this weekend. Thanks again!
DeleteGeorgia Girl, I'm looking forward to more blog posts from you this year! Happy New Year to you, and I enjoyed this story. Can't wait for the wedding!
DeleteFor the voice recognition, have you tried saying the punctuation that you want? My voice recognition adds a "." when I say "Period", etc. The blogger app comes in handy. I've only done one post so far, uploading photos from my phone and using the voice recognition.
Happy New Year to you RoxanneRoxanne!! I'm happy you enjoyed the post. Yes, a wedding. I am already spinning my wheels. Lol!
DeleteOkay, thanks for the info. It sounds similar to how I send a text
using the microphone. I plan to check it. It would makes thing even easier.

ReplyDeleteHi Muff!! :-) Happy New Year to you!! Thanks so much! I plan to post more especially since I have finally found an easy way to post. All types of ideas are running through my brain. Lol!
DeleteI got so excited to see you post and then to open the link and find a short story too was even more exciting. First...Happy New Year! I adore Julianna and her HOT boyfriend...excuse me...fiancé, Jabari. I can't wait for their wedding. Every time I see Dallas, I swoon. I so want that doll but her price is crazy. Maybe I'll put her down as a New Years resolution. By the way, her boyfriend is hot too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found an easier way to post. Looking forward to more postings in the future. I'm in the same boat you were last year. I'm still saving for a new computer. Even though, I have an iPad and loading would be easy..,even bought a comic app to make stories, the picture quality isn't great at all. Anywho...glad to see you posting again. :-)
Hi Tracy India!!! :-) Happy New Year to you! Yes, Julianna does have a hot boyfriend. I have loved Jabari (Remi) from the first time that I saw him. Once the planners get with the happy couple, we will have a date for the wedding. Dallas boyfriend is cue, but I think he has other things /people on his mind. We'll have to see about him.
ReplyDeleteI was very excited to finally find a way to post. Now, I have all of these ideas running through my head, but no time to create them. I hope you are able to get a new computer soon. I SO love your stories!
Yay! Great way to start off the new year. So excited to see a post and a story from you. You are already ahead of the game. You've posted more this year than 2013 and 2014. Great dio. You are so good at all the little details.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vanessa! Your comments mean SO much to me because you are the Queen of diorama. I hope to post much more often now that it is so easy to do so. I just have to find the time to execute all of the ideas in my head. Lol!
DeleteHi Georgia Girl. I absolutely love your diorama and I'm looking forward to the wedding. I am sure it will be beautiful. Keep the post coming!
